Meet the Team - Administrator

Hickory Ridge would like to introduce our Administrator, Ashley Giltner. Ashley comes to us with several years of experience as well as experience in activities, HR, admissions, and Social Services - her favorite role in long-term and skilled nursing care. Her background is extremely helpful for our team as we launch our plans for the upcoming year.

"Hi, I am Ashley Giltner and I am the Executive Director at Hickory Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. I joined this team in August 2020 and since then I have absolutely fallen in love with the residents and staff. I have my Bachelor's degree in Social Work from The University of Akron. I started my career in 2013 at a nursing home in the Akron area as a social worker and over the next seven years, I held a variety of positions in different departments including social work, Activities Director, HR Manager, and Facility Administrator. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband, three children, and three dogs."

We are excited about having Ashley as head of our team here a Hickory Ridge and look forward to a great working relationship.

Hickory Ridge is a 164 bed, skilled nursing facility located in Akron, Ohio. It is our mission to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve.
