Meet the Team - Nutritionist/Dietician

Our team here at Hickory Ridge is filled with amazing individuals that put their all into making our facility feel like a home for our residents. We wanted to give our community and families the opportunity to get to know the team that takes care of their loved ones, the faces behind the masks. This week we would like to introduce our facility Nutritionist/Dietician, Lisa Huda!

Lisa is an amazing asset to the Hickory Ridge team. She is an absolute joy to work with, always giving support wherever she can. Lisa always has a smile on her face and gracious words for her co-workers. Lisa makes sure to take into account what the resident's favorite foods are for their diet. You can tell she loves her job as she is always with the residents and is involved with every step of their nutrition needs.

“I have worked in long –term care for over 25 years. I am a graduate of Youngstown State University, a Registered Dietetic Technician, Certified Dietary Manager and Notary Public. I have experience in Foodservice, Clinical and nutrition consulting. I have a passion for nutrition and it is rewarding to work with the residents and their families. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and attending sporting events.”

Hickory Ridge is a 164 bed, skilled nursing facility located in Akron, Ohio. It is our mission to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve.
